ABOUT US

Price Care’s Semi-Independent Living service provides a high standard of accommodation and a supportive environment for residents aged 16 to 18 years. Our homes offer the perfect environment for young people who need support before they are ready to embark on their journey of independence.

Our semi-independent settings are more than just somewhere to live. They bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood and offer the Young person the optimum level of support, so they are prepared for the challenges of living independently and becoming valued members of the community.

Our care packages are tailored to provide targeted support with education, employment, life skills and housing. This is extremely important in our eyes, without this support they would suddenly be expected to know how to cook their own meals, run a home and manage their finances, all in one go. This is why living in a Price Care semi-independent home can be hugely beneficial to young people.

Here at Price Care we understand that the young people in our care have been exposed to Adverse Childhood Experiences that have had a huge impact on their emotional well-being. With this in mind Price Care provides the necessary therapeutic support to promote positive emotional well-being.

Price Care’s services are provided in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children Act 1989 and 2004 (And relevant government and/or statutory regulations and guidance).

OUR MISSION

We endeavour to guide the young people in our care on their journey to becoming responsible adults. We aim to ensure the Young person attains respect, self-reliance and self-care skills and enable them to make informed, age-appropriate decisions, concerning their present and future regardless of their background or circumstances. Our passionate and dedicated members of staff provide the highest level of support to all the young people in our care.
